Day 13 - Travel Day (Honeyman to California)
RV's and Palm Trees
Being seasoned veterans now of this long and winding roads, we had a much better travel day than last time. One of the keys seems to be to put Aria in the front seat and to listen to one audio CD after another. No reading, no ipod, no movies, no looking below the horizon. Today's drive was uneventful, but beautiful. We capped off the day with a taste of locally caught cod and fries at a nearby restaurant. Here are some scenes from the road. Once again we are camping amid huge RV's, but hey - it's quiet!

It always feels exotic to see a palm tree. We didn't know they grew this far north.
Wow, Looks like you guys are having a very fun time! Can't wait to see you all and to give you all big hugs. The fish is waiting in the freezer for you....have fun you "very cool" people.
